Hands-down the best doughnuts in Burnet County. I drive 20 miles before the 2 PM close just to grab a dozen before they sell out. The staff always remembers my order!

Our Story
A small-town bakery, up before the sun
Gude's has been Burnet's go-to for fresh doughnuts and kolaches, made from scratch every single morning. Those early hours aren't a gimmick — they're what real from-scratch baking takes. Walk through the door and the smell of warm bread, pastries, and fresh coffee greets you before we do.
We're proudly a little unexpected: doughnuts, croissant sandwiches, tacos, and boba tea all under one roof. Regulars drive 20 miles or more to stock up before our 2 PM close — and we make sure it's worth the trip.

You walk in and the smell of fresh bread and coffee just hits you. Grabbed a chicken salad croissant and a milk tea boba — never thought I'd find both in one small-town spot.

Such a fun surprise — donuts, tacos, kolaches AND boba tea under one roof. Kolaches are my weakness. Friendly folks and quick service in the drive-through.
